What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
There is no end of interesting work to be done! Regardless of how challenging it might be, you always find a way out (and everyone around you is more than willing to guide you towards the goal).
Being a software company, I get many opportunities to learn about technologies and even experiment them!
Worst
The company is really big, and the time it takes to find an answer to a question might not be instant (but you get to speak to lots of people at least).
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £37,000 - £39,000
Current salary: £47,000 - £49,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
The first step would be to understand what the company does and believes in. The ethics and culture of a company is a deciding factor in whether you would see yourself working (possibly for life) at the company.
Then, as advice to how should the application process go, make sure you show your authentic self! The application process might not be short, but it is for sure designed to show you Autodesk, and for the company to understand you.
Regardless of the application steps, always give your best and always be prepared to showcase your knowledge!
Do you have any interview tips?
The interview is the key factor, as you get to ask questions about Autodesk and show your interest, but it is also the time you get to show the interviewers what kind of person you are.
The questions you will be asked are both related to your personality and your skills (whether programming or engineering related).
Be empathetic, as the interviewers are ready to help you and make you feel comfortable!
