What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Go for it! Even if you don't have ANY prior experience with software or coding, you may still be the sort of person who will be great at those things and Metaswitch offers the kind of supporting environment that can develop those skills. Also the interview process is really fun - if you enjoy the interviews, you'll enjoy working here. It's nice that the interview process is so representative of the kind of thinking and problem-solving you need day-to-day, rather than feeling like a series of exercises where you have to jump through hoops.

Think out loud - show the interviewer your thought processes so that they can help you if you get stuck. Don't be afraid if you find the questions hard - you're supposed to!
