What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
The support I have from colleagues and teammates, and how interesting the work itself is.
Worst
The IT infrastructure is poor, and some members of senior management seem very disconnected from the workforce. The pay disparity seems too high between Associate Solicitors and Partners.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £15,000 - £17,000
Current salary: £35,000 - £37,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be open and honest regarding your experience and why you feel you are suited for the role. At Irwin Mitchell, there is a distinct split between 'personal' and 'business' law - only apply if you know which side of the divide you want to work on!

You need to show your interviewer that you would be a good addition to their team - no one wants to hire someone that they think would be a pain to work with, e.g. due to the size of their ego.
