What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

Having the ability to experience 4 weeks with each department in the business, learning about how each part operates and how they piece together. The variety of work is very broad on the scheme which I have definitely enjoyed, from working on site for the first time, to spending time in the legal department.

Worst

Because each rotation is 4 weeks long often it's difficult to have your own work load as shortly you'll be moving departments to start your rotation there. So, even though the rotations are very beneficial, having 4 weeks with each department might not be long enough to get properly stuck into certain work.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £25,000 - £27,000

Current salary: £25,000 - £27,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 07:30

Finish: 16:00

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Concentrate on the application, don't rush it. You maybe applying to numerous schemes around the same time, however, it is essential to really tailor each application to the job you're applying for.

Do you have any interview tips?

There will likely be numerous stages to the interview process; telephone interview, face to face interview, then maybe another face to face interview in the location you're likely to work, then perhaps an assessment day to follow. Make sure you have done the necessary preparation for each stage. I don't believe you need to massively stand out from the crowd when being interviewed, just present yourself in the best way possible and be confident.
