What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
Purpose-driven work. Along with the team I am a part of - we are contributing to meaningful environmental and social change — from carbon reduction and waste management to improving community impact. It's rewarding knowing our day-to-day work aligns with the company's values.
Exposure to a wide range of areas. As a graduate, I often rotate or assist across multiple projects — from reporting and site audits to innovation and stakeholder engagement. It’s a great learning experience.
Worst
One of the biggest challenges is that sustainability can sometimes be seen as a “nice to have” rather than a business priority. This means there can be resistance or lack of engagement from others.
