What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
You need a passion for problem solving, statistics and a determination to solve problems in an extremely unique environment. System Engineers are responsible for a huge variety of assets in different areas. A broad range of knowledge of almost all types of engineering is required.
Do you have any interview tips?
Educate yourself on not only Sellafield Ltd but the UK's nuclear industry as a whole. Be aware of the high risk environment that a nuclear site is, safety is paramount in any problem you face and you should be aware of this.
