What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Have an interest in areas of the work outside of your studies, whether that's architecture, engineering, design, BIM, property etc. make the work appear to align with some of you passions. Demonstrate you have the key skills for the role.

Do you have any interview tips?

I was asked to do a presentation on one of the company's visions, I chose the area of zero carbon because it played to my strengths and passions. It helped me to produce and present a very informative presentation that I was able to deliver confidently and answer question that required me to elaborate. I was asked about ways in which our homes can be heated more sustainably, which allowed me to show my knowledge of sustainable developments and technologies used in the industry. I feel I really excelled when asked questions regarding my character and careers goals, showing I am determined to succeed but not coming across big headed and arrogant. It is always important to show that you align with the company values during interviews, the values the company has are what they want to see in their staff.
