What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 9:45

Finish: 19:15

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

If you're really into wine then show this during the interviews. Really consider this job before applying as most people will tell you what you want to hear and not the real truth about working here.
It's not a bad job but it's not what I would call a proper graduate scheme.

They recruit and employ around 200 people a year because the staff turn over is high.

Do you have any interview tips?

At the first interview you're asked to sell one of three products, Champagne, White Wine or a Red Wine.
You're also asked to describe a time when you where in a particular situation etc. etc.

At the second interview you are interviewed by a senior manager (Regional or Store Manager) they ask questions about how passionate you are towards wine, what you would do in various situations if you were working at majestic wine etc.

Be passionate about wine and show this, be a people person and enthusiastic.
It's pretty easy to get through if you are.
