What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Make sure your application is error free - read it again and again and ask a third party (an impartial friend/relative) to also read it for spelling/grammar/sense. Simple things are important like making sure you address the cover letter to the correct recipient.
You should try to demonstrate an awareness of the firm's business and how you will fit within the firm.
Do you have any interview tips?
In my opinion, the key is to think logically and express yourself clearly and concisely. You will have two interviews. One is an interview about yourself - so on your CV basically. The other is an interview on an article, which you will have been shown about 20 minutes before the interview. Neither interview is intended to trip you up, the interviewers are more interested in having a conversation with you and talking through your opinions.
