Understand the role of a commercial lawyer and ensure your application reflects an interest in that type of work. Use a variety of resources to collate information that will make your application feel highly tailored to the firm. The advice sounds general, but it's general for a reason.
Do you have any interview tips?
How lawyers would be involved in the process of a deal, in terms of the different departments that would be required, and then what specific things those departments might have to do. It was important to have some awareness on the decisions that need to be made and the influences on what advice we would give.
