What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Eliminate clicheed talking points either in the written application or during the interview. Show that you are an interesting person, that is in addition to being an academically and intellectually excellent candidate. Have personality. Try to understand what 'commercial awareness' is, especially by understanding why the firm wants you to have it. Then show that you've got it.
