What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Research the firm, know its clients and any high profile deals it's been working on. Don't go into an interview adamant that you want to qualify into a certain area. Interviewers will be sceptical of any candidate who isn't coming in with an open mind. Remember you have two years to complete and four practice areas to experience.
Do you have any interview tips?
Be yourself. The graduate recruitment partners are very friendly and approachable. They want to see your personality and check whether you're a fit for the firm.
I was asked questions around challenges for law firms and considerations when setting up a firm in a new location. I had paralegal experience in litigation so was asked some questions around privilege.
