Best
Getting to support solicitors on very interesting cases, getting to engage with expert evidence and interact with vulnerable clients.
Worst
Sometimes the admin is a little dry! And lots of screen time...

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Emphasise the professional experience you have - firms want people have some work experience, not just 'fresh' graduates with strong academic records.
Do you have any interview tips?
Be enthusiastic and confident. I was asked a range of questions on key competencies (e.g. a time you've managed a difficult situation) and more 'thought-provoking' questions about particular areas of law (e.g. 'Is it wrong to sue the NHS?').
