What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Don't apply to Hogan Lovells because it is well regarded, won a certain award, or was ranked in X position in a table. You will spend a large part of your life at the firm, and so you need to be sure that it is for you. Do your research, email current trainees/associates, go to open days. Nothing impresses interviewers more than someone who is prepared, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. If you're good enough to work at Hogan Lovells, you'll be good enough to work at a lot of other places. Your job is to show your interviewers precisely why this firm is the place that you want to be.
