Starting salary: £21,000 - £23,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Make sure that you tailor all of your answers to the questions being asked and align your answers with Pinsent Masons competencies. Don't think that you can get away with copying chunks of information from previous applications - it will be obvious!
Do you have any interview tips?
Many of the questions at the interviews are fairly standard e.g. team work, commercial awareness etc. Make sure that you prepare these answers as much as you can before the interview. At the interview, be yourself, don't be too nervous and let your personality shine through.
There are also a number of tests/ tasks that you will need to complete such as a non-verbal reasoning test, a presentation and a SWOT Analysis. Many of the other trainees and I found these fairly challenging. Just make sure to stay calm, do your best and remember that you're not expected to do get every question right.
