What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be yourself and don't be all about law. Show that you're an interesting and down-to-earth person, but that you are really eager to learn. Being eager to learn is more important than pretending you know everything about law.
Do you have any interview tips?
Have background knowledge about the firm and about general business issues. Knowing about the economic climate is probably more important than knowing anything about law. Back in 2009 I was asked what caused the credit crunch!
