What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The best thing about my job is the diversity in the workload from day to day and the ethos of the firm which runs through all of the employees.

I enjoy the challenge that each day brings and the training opportunities offered.

Worst

I find the pay gap between PLS and BLS disappointing. That does not promote the 'OneIM' ethos strived for and builds a divide between BLS and PLS.

Starting salary: £25,000 - £27,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Focus on the firm's ethos and key objectives. The firm wants someone enthusiastic who will take on the firm's ethics and be more than a lawyer. We pride ourselves in being approachable and caring, as well as fantastic listeners, so people skills are a must. Having a hobby that you are passionate about can add an extra dimension which attracts recruiters.

Do you have any interview tips?

Be very prepared and fully up to date on the goals of the firm. We are currently working on 'OneIM' and client sharing, promoting ourselves as a full-service firm.
