What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

I have been put into a fairly lean team which means that I can work autonomously for the most part. Simultaneously, I have a lot of responsibility in my role from reporting and data analytics to product data and website systems meaning that my learnings have been paramount. Finally, my line manager is fantastic. She has been key in shaping the remainder of my first placement and has really helped me focus on personal development whilst giving me more responsibility.

Worst

As our team is so lean (with colleagues working flexible hours) - knowledge can be isolated at times and hard to come by without the relevant person there.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £29,000 - £31,000

Current salary: £29,000 - £31,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 09:00

Finish: 17:00

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Be honest and give the questions some thought. They aren't trying to trip you up or expect you to come up with something ground breaking that no one else has ever thought of before. They just want to know that you understand the basics and that they can develop you.

Do you have any interview tips?

Be genuine. The people interviewing have done it countless times before. They'll pick up very early on if the candidate is suitable or not. Prepare your answers. They will ask for examples based on "going above and beyond" and "leadership" examples etc. If you have these prepared with the way that you were able to implement, measure and deal with problems - you'll have a good answer.
