3 Do’s

  • Turn up!
Make an appearance, show you’re part of the team and appreciate the effort in making the night special

  • Dress Appropriately
Enquire on the dress code and follow it, stay away from slinky dresses and ill-fitting suits, make sure you can wear your shoes all night

  • Mingle
Chat with your colleagues. Now is the time to get to know the people you spend the most time with. Shake hands, chat about life outside of work.

3 Dont’s

  • Gossip
Don’t participate in workplace gossip. It can be more harmful than you anticipate and will come back into the office after the party.

  • Get drunk
A few drinks is fine if they’re supplied. Don’t over-do it. Nothing is worse than a hangover except the stories that your colleagues will remember come January.

  • Leave too early
A lot of effort goes into preparing the Christmas party. Stay as long as you can and don’t leave too early.
