What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

There is always someone who will be there to help you, even when you think it is something really small and you should know it. Everyone needs someone to bounce an idea off, to talk it through with someone and solve whatever it is.

There is a lot of support not just from people in your similar role, but also from higher up. They are interested in you, not just your job role.

Office socials can be fun, bake sale days, fruit box deliveries. Flexible working if you need it.

Worst

There is some divide between departments which can feel a bit awkward.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £15,000 - £17,000

Current salary: £19,000 - £21,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Everyone is different and they know that. Each applicant is considered individually. If you have shown that you have worked and will be willing to work hard during your studies with the company, you will have as good a chance as anyone else.

Show them why you deserve to be there. Not just about how good your grades are, or might not be. Show them who you are, because it's just as important to fit in with the team as it is to pass the exams.

Do you have any interview tips?

They are not as scary as they may seem. They started out just like you have.
Be prepared, do your research and be yourself.
Prepare one or two decent questions rather than many little ones that are just standard.

You may be asked to talk about yourself. This is your chance to big yourself up (professionally) Not just your achievement academically, but also your hobbies, what you do in your spare time.
