Starting salary: £15,000 - £17,000
Current salary: £21,000 - £23,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
If you want to aim high and you are a motivated individual, Balfour Beatty will help and support you. If you are willing to develop and push yourself then the company is one of the best for career development. Don’t worry if you are new to the industry; I had no background or experience in the construction industry but this didn’t matter as Balfour Beatty provides full training and support. By undertaking further training such as my degree I am learning about the Construction industry from an academic perspective and by working at the same time I am putting this into practice, developing and gaining experience every single day.

Make the interviewer aware of your goals and aspirations. The role of an apprentice does not focus solely on academic achievement, therefore it is essential that you show them your willingness to learn and develop.
