What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
I enjoy solving problems and the feeling of being involved in successful projects. I also enjoy the feeling when I come up with an idea that nobody else thought of.
Worst
When a project is failing due to unforeseen events and there is very little I can do to rectify the situation. Paperwork can be repetitive, but this is the same with most jobs.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £19,000 - £21,000
Current salary: £21,000 - £23,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Make your application specific to ISG and the area of the business / job role you want to join, especially your covering letter as this will be the businesses' first impression of you. Don't over complicate your CV, as an apprenticeship candidate all you need is an overview of your education, any work experience and personal qualities. Double check for spelling / grammar mistakes.
Do you have any interview tips?
Be yourself and make sure you highlight the things that make you stand out. Read up on the company values and have some ideas prepared of how/why you embody them. If there is a particular area of the business you want to join, read up on it, and make your desire known when interviewing.
