What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
The flexibility and variety of work. Everyday is different in the world of property, as the job changes when working for different clients.
Meeting people - Working in agency means I facilitate viewings for all types of people and businesses which can be fascinating.
Giving back to the industry - GVA offer the opportunity for apprentices to promote their career paths and raise the profile of the industry in schools, which I personally feel passionate about.
Worst
Working alongside a degree can be extremely tasking at times, as you may have to prioritize clients / work commitments over your university commitment. This means it's easy to fall behind with university.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £17,000 - £19,000
Current salary: £17,000 - £19,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be enthusiastic, as it's so important to have an interest in the industry to work and learn the trade at the same time.

Be you! Surveying is a people industry so employers are looking for people skills.
Answer honestly - you are not expected to know everything, as at the end of the day it's a learning role.
