Starting salary: £0 - £12,000
Current salary: £19,000 - £21,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
You get out of the apprenticeship what you put in. If you are willing to work hard and you enjoy civil engineering, you will learn a lot and work will be very rewarding. I believe that taking a part-time route to becoming a civil engineer gives you a better insight into the industry.
Do you have any interview tips?
Be yourself and be prepared. Being nervous is also fine!
