What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Don't expect a reply right away. On the application make yourself appear as best as you possibly can. Be confident in your abilities and transfer that over onto your application form. If you have any knowledge of Engineering and the role you are applying for make sure to mention it wherever it may be relevant on the application form. Don't go into too much detail. You don't want to submit a CV that's too long and overcrowded with information. If you get to the interview stage you don't want to be repeating what is said on your CV over and over as the Interviewer will have already seen this information.

Do you have any interview tips?

Be confident that you can get the job. Before the interview, ideally a few days leading up to it, look online and see if you can find questions that may be asked of you and practice what you would say if you were asked that question. Additionally, you should look over your application and CV and refresh your memory of any tasks that you undertook during work or school/college. Make sure when you are asked questions you have specific examples of previous work and tasks you have undertaken to show that you are capable of doing the job you're interviewing for, always try to tailor your answer to the job and question being asked. Also, if you have gathered any additional experience or tasks since you applied try to mention them where appropriate to show that you are active and continuously working.
