What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The best thing about the day-to-day job itself is the variety. We work an all different software and have different projects all the time so you never get bored of doing one thing. If you find that one this is getting repetitive or you are not in the headspace, you can move it something else and come back to it. As long as you get the work done and meet any deadlines, do it whatever way that suits you best.

Worst

Sometimes it can feel like no progress is being made. Results are never immediate and sometimes you never get them- This, of course, does depend on the project you are given. Some of the work can also be a bit tedious but as long as you have other work along side it, its not as bad as you can pick and choose when you do it.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £19,000 - £21,000

Current salary: £19,000 - £21,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Applications were not my strong point but make sure you proof read everything and check for any spelling or grammar mistakes. Its important you show us what you can do, brag a little bit cause we want you to stand out. Don't just tell us about your grade, but skills as well. Communicating, team building etc. There are hundreds of applicants- what makes you stand out?

Do you have any interview tips?

Don't Panic! Be honest and be yourself. Do your research about the company but don't be afraid if you don't know the answer to a question. If you show that you are willing to learn than that's just as good. Your not expected to know everything. Follow the steps as you would for an interview, dress smart, talk professionally but don't be afraid to show your personality as well. Grades are important but so is attitude.
