What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The best thing about my job is the culture and people that I work alongside every day. Isio has a inclusive and encouraging working environment that has supported me through challenging work periods, exams and personal problems that could of impacted my work. It's also appreciative of the importance of flexible working which helps achieve a better work/life balance.

Worst

The worst thing about my job is sometimes the fast paced and urgent nature of the industry. As we work for clients it is often that we need to work to urgent and tight deadlines which can create a stressful environment when not managed correctly. However, with good organisation and time management it is often a manageable aspect of the job.

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Ensure to apply as soon as possible, don't risk missing the application deadline.
The application isn't trying to trip you up so remain calm and answer everything honestly and to the best of your ability. Try to commit some time to it to make sure you're able to complete all of the sections. Also make sure your CV is up to date and reflects all of your achievements so far correctly.

Do you have any interview tips?

Whilst it can be scary attending an interview, try to be yourself and let your personality come through. If you've made it through to interview stage you've already proved through your application and CV that you are likely capable for the role so now it's time to see if you'd be a good fit for Isio's culture and team.
It's good to come to the interview with examples prepared of how you've demonstrated soft skills such team work, resilience and problem solving. The interviewer will often ask for an example of your greatest achievement and an example of a problem/situation you've overcome.
