What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
My team. I have been very lucky to be put in a team with great people.
The role requires you to think and come up with solutions to problems.
Worst
The quiet periods, where no work is issued, but still expected to do something on paper.
Can be a very dirty job. Most days you get home stinking of oil.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £25,000 - £27,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Read up on the company values, and research the roles.
Be honest on your application, as the whole process goes through several stages, and it would be a waste of your time to get to the final stage only to be caught out.
Do you have any interview tips?
Be yourself first of all. I was incredibly nervous throughout the whole application process and put myself under more stress than was necessary. They really are not there to catch you out. Questions were very straight forward, although due to nerves, I rambled on quite a bit.
Apart from that, just the usual common sense things; give yourself plenty of time to get there, plan your journey, have contact details to hand in case you get delayed, and most of all dress accordingly.
