What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
The best things about my job is the working hours can be flexible, furthermore the location is ideal. There is always experienced and considerate employees around me that are always willing to help. I have met and worked with a variety of people and gotten to learn so much about my role, work with amazing clients and develop better skills than I already thought I had. I also enjoy working with my colleagues as a team it has helped me develop my social skills and my team working skills.
Worst
One of the primary challenges has been balancing the rigorous ACA exam schedule with the day-to-day demands of the role. The nature of the work is fast-paced, and while site visits are valuable, they can occasionally disrupt a consistent study routine. Additionally, I believe a more flexible hybrid working arrangement would be beneficial; reducing the frequency of the commute would help manage the rising costs of travel and daily expenses, allowing for a more focused and cost-effective work-life balance
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £23,000 - £25,000
Current salary: £25,000 - £27,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
When applying really grasp a strong understanding of the role, what comes with the role in terms of expectations and responsibilities. Furthermore, get a really good understanding of the role that is advertised, then get a strong understanding of the company's values, culture and what the firms goal is.
Do you have any interview tips?
I would advise candidates who get to the interview stage to ensure they have good knowledge of the role and the firm by this stage. Practising speaking confidently and enthusiastically with good hand gestures is part of preparing however, its equally important to practise as much interview questions beforehand using solid structures such as the STAR method and I'd emphasise candidates add an L to that framework which means link. Always apply the competency questioned to the role you will work once hired, demonstrating you truly understand what interviewees are looking for
