What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
The diversity available within Severn Trent. You really can make it what you want. If you want to involve yourself in something totally different elsewhere in the business, that is encouraged. Development is encouraged for those willing to do the extra work.
Worst
Sometimes things can be a little slow. Important decisions can take too long, and you sometimes find yourself wondering 'what happens next' with no real answer.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £13,000 - £15,000
Current salary: £17,000 - £19,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be aware of what you're coming into. This is a water AND waste company. Do not apply expecting to avoid sewage. It's unlikely to happen. Know the role and the industry. Research is vital.
