What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
Working on systems that very few in the world will get the opportunity to see. The level of pay is competitive. The opportunity to travel once qualified is lucrative.
Worst
There isn't as much support for further education post apprenticeship. There are many colleagues who dislike the Project Engineer apprenticeship, which results in less work being given to us.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £0 - £12,000
Current salary: £23,000 - £25,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be prepared for the exam questions as part of the applications, these include basic maths, English and problem-solving.
