What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

-There are plenty of progression opportunities
-Lots of support available
-I am working on a very large strategic initiative which provides lots of opportunities for learning and development

Worst

-Difficult to get your head around the new terminology at the beginning, so have had to build my own glossary (but to be honest this is all part of the learning, which I enjoy. Some people might see this as a negative though if they find it difficult to learn lots of new words at the same time as the new skills!)

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £15,000 - £17,000

Current salary: £15,000 - £17,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

In any covering letter/written piece you produce, ensure you're coming across as passionate for the role you're applying to. Also, ensure your written communication is perfect in terms of grammar and spelling as this will make you stand out among other applicants.

Do you have any interview tips?

Again, ensure you convey your passion in the interview. Although I lacked experience in the role I was applying to, I tried to draw upon as many experiences I could which showed that I had the necessary skillset for the job. Coming across as confident is also key- but not cocky! Be prepared to have more than one person interviewing you too, as I had three people interviewing me, which is something I've never experienced before. In an odd way it does help having more than one person as there's more people to bounce your ideas off and different perspectives in the room- so don't fret if you do have more than one individual come to greet you! Remain cool, calm and collected and you should be fine!
