What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The main thing I enjoy about my job is how different each day is. There is always something in my calendar, whether it is spending time in the office, a site visit, training or a customer/internal event (which may include travelling outside the UK). Travelling isn’t for everybody, but it is certainly something I like about my job.

Worst

The most challenging part of my job is how technical it can be. It is a major jump from college as I am now working with real-life projects, but I need to make sure I can soak up/understand lots of new things every day.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £19,000 - £21,000

Current salary: £21,000 - £23,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Show that you're on track to reaching the required qualifications (A level/GCSE). For example, an engineering degree was part of my apprenticeship therefore I needed to make sure I was on track to pass my maths A level. Receiving the job may depend on you passing the exam.
Include all of your work experience. Although it may not be completely relevant to the job role, it still demonstrates you have worked and have skills.

Do you have any interview tips?

Be yourself. Try to keep in a positive manner and listen carefully. It is the best opportunity to show you have good skills and drive.
Try and think back to past jobs/experiences and fit them with certain skills (e.g. teamwork).
