What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
The work is challenging but rewarding. I love the mix of medicine and the law but mostly its seeing that the work we do has a genuine impact on people's lives.
Worst
Some conversations with clients can be challenging and can often involve the loss of a loved one or a very traumatic experience in their lives which can be very emotional.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: - None -
Current salary: £19,000 - £21,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Consider how your general life experience shows the firms values it doesn't necessarily have to be legal work experience.
Have post it notes / flashcards to remind you of key points for your pre-recorded interview.
Do you have any interview tips?
Take the time to do your research but don't fall into the trap of feeling that you need to spread yourself too thin. Having detailed knowledge about a few areas you are passionate about shows in your interview.
Remember that you're selling yourself not what you think the company wants. If you've made it this far they have already seen something in you, you just need to find a way to make that shine in the interview.
