What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

I like that every single day is different and with every new task I learn a little more about the construction industry.

Worst

I do not have much of a prior knowledge of the construction industry so I do get a little lost during meetings, but I just write down what I have not understood and ask about it after or google it.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £15,000 - £17,000

Current salary: £19,000 - £21,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

When applying have a clear and concise CV that you know well so when asked any questions on it in an interview you are not stumbling for an answer. Tailor your skills and assets to the particular role you are applying for.

Do you have any interview tips?

Understand the role you are applying for, I did lots of research about what exactly what tasks I should expect to undertake as a Quantity Surveyor so I could explain why I would be a good candidate for the job. It is important to have a knowledge of the company you are interviewing for and their morals and ethics so you can discuss why you want to work for the company.
