I would suggest in doing extensive research into recruitment and what is involved. I have noticed some people who enter this industry don't realize the full aspect of what is involved/ expected of consultants. This role is very exciting and rewarding, but can be very tough. I think it tests how persistent and driven you really are as a person and how you manage your desk.
Interview Advice:
Research into the company and know the history. Prepare your answers in advance and always think outside the box. Ask relevant questions such as what is the structure this company operates on, what are the career progression opportunities available to a graduate coming on board.
Also what would be expected of the graduate when joining the company. This really shows your eagerness and how proactive you are. Also what would be really good is to research into what sectors the company operates in, and which one you feel you would be best suited and why?

In this business, it's important to be yourself as clients and candidates will quickly see through anyone who oversells themselves or comes across as false. Where you haven't any experience in recruitment, hiring managers want to see charisma, personality and drive.
Interview Advice:
If you're applying for a role in recruitment, remember the person opposite has, a) been in your position and b) has interviewed thousands of people. Therefore, they will see through anyone who misleads, exaggerates or oversells themselves. It's important you come across as confident with a drive for success. But, there's a fine line between someone who is polished and driven and someone is brash and arrogant.
