What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

Flexible and independent working, the nature of the role means that once you have demonstrated good time/task management a level of trust is gained quickly. The role provides outlets for learning and improvement frequently.

Wide variety of projects that I have worked on in first 4 years of career (Highways, Aviation, Water and Environment), and the opportunity to work with key UK clients (TfL, Thameswater, Highways England, Heathrow)

Worst

There are times when you will be expected to work longer hours, however they should remain at manageable levels. Sometimes this may not be the case (however for myself I have been able to cover this through my line manager).

It can be difficult to learn the 'right' way unless you have a good mentor.
