What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
If you enjoy a fast paced environment where you can really work for your money and see results then this is the industry for you. It is not a "9-5" and although contracted hours are 8:30-6:00 with a 1 hour lunch break, It is rare that you get away by 6 or arrive any later than 8:00/8:15.
Do you have any interview tips?
Expect to have role plays and presentations further down the line. An initial phone interview will take place and you will be asked about your knowledge of what recruitment consultants do day to day. Understand that it is a sales jobs and not a job centre. If you like return on your work and enjoy reward then mention that is what motivates you.
