What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Learn as much as possible about both the Fast Stream and the way Fast Streamers are expected to learn and develop, including Civil Service Competencies. This doesn't mean listening to rumours or 'horror stories', but, if you do get a chance to speak to a current Fast Streamer, try and get a good understanding of how the job actually works. . I think it is easy to focus on tips for the day, but you will feel a lot more confident during the process if you don't feel in the dark.

Don't treat the assessment centre like a test, act how you would if it was a day at work.
