Starting salary: £31,000 - £33,000

Current salary: £33,000 - £35,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

This is probably the best purchasing/procurement graduate scheme in the UK. You are given real responsibilities from the day you start, but the friendly working environment means that you will also have access to all the help and advice you need. It is a great environment for learning and development, but be prepared to take initiative.

There is plenty of professional flexibility. If you come onto the purchasing graduate scheme, but are not satisfied with the role you are in, do not worry as you will be encouraged to change role by the second year to something more interesting.

Do you have any interview tips?

You need to be able to think on your feet. The most challenging part of the assessment centre are the mock negotiations, but it is not unreasonably tough.
