What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be confident in this company as they really seek to get the best out of you and place so much value on you as an individual. If you are someone that looks to give back and help those around you and see that moving forward is through collaboration rather than individual effort then this is the company for you. I studied history at university and felt that I would never be employed by an accountancy firm. This firm looked beyond that fact and I have been very grateful ever since. They have also taken their time with my development and I feel that their patience and encouragement has allowed me to catch up very quickly.
Do you have any interview tips?
Stay calm, be friendly and try and highlight your ability to communicate well with others, to have critical thought and to show that you have knowledge of the current affairs surrounding business and the importance of accountancy.
