What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Be prepared that it involves a GREAT deal of travel. You would want to have a car as it's a nightmare trying to get to client sites as they usually tend to be outside of town centres.

Be prepared to work hard to stand out. It is a competitive industry but dedication and a positive attitude will get you noticed and appreciated.

Do you have any interview tips?

Be yourself. Grant Thornton don't want a robot they want a person. When they interview you they are looking for much more than just qualifications. They're looking for life experience and how you come across as a person.

Try to show that you are a positive individual that's not afraid of a challenge.

Be confident. There will be a group interview at one stage where you want to make sure your voice is heard but also make sure you allow others to speak.
