What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
You don't have to be a technical genius. It is sufficient to be willing to learn and be adaptable. We look for people who have strong people skills and can quickly understand challenges and work collaboratively to resolve them.
Do you have any interview tips?
You have to know why you want to be here. One of the questions I was asked was why I would want to move away from a lucrative role in the finance sector. For me the answer was easy, I wanted to work in a place where the culture would allow me to thrive. Also where I would be encouraged to learn through a multitude of training and development opportunities and I would have the opportunity to work in a variety of roles maintaining a certain level of variety in my work life.
