What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The best thing about being a BA is the networking side. The role involves lots of workshops & interviews with various areas of the business to get the requirements you need for your projects, so you get lots of exposure to other teams and get to know the business really well.

Worst

At my client specifically they involve lots of meetings. While I do enjoy the networking side sometimes there can be too many to the point where I struggle to complete the tasks that need to be done off the back of meetings.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £23,000 - £25,000

Current salary: £25,000 - £27,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 09:00

Finish: 17:30

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Be prepared to travel as Ten10 can place you anywhere within the UK and you must be prepared to move, if someone isn't prepared to move then they should look elsewhere. You also have to be prepared to be on the bench waiting for a client while on training & possibly some time after completing initial training.

Do you have any interview tips?

Ensure you read up about the company and the skills they look for. Ten10 will not expect you to have experience in the IT sector (specifically QE) but they will look at how you can apply past experience to adapt to the sector.
