What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The best thing would be that I am on a placement, where I have a lot of responsibility placed on me. I am a project manager and the project is quite significant to the wider team. So, it is a good opportunity to work on a significant project with all its challenges and engage a range of senior stakeholders.

Worst

The worst thing would be getting senior members of staff in the same room, as at times this can be tricky. Another difficulty would be booking rooms in a busy office.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £25,000 - £27,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 08:00

Finish: 16:00

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Be thorough in the application process. Be concise when filling in the forms and practice for the numerical and verbal tests. Once, and if, through to assessment day, prepare well for each different component. For the interview be yourself and let your personality shine through (strengths-based interview). For the group exercise try and work as a team and don't step on people. It is important to contribute and help the process but in the right way. For the presentation, it should concise and engaging. Do plenty of practice and be confident.

Do you have any interview tips?

It was a strengths-based interview and it involved little preparation. It was just about being yourself and letting your personality shine through. Making sure that you are detailed in your responses and give the interviewer enough to understand your strengths and personality.
