What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

JLR value a diversity of skills and experiences. Be honest, write a full and comprehensive CV and read up on automotive industry trends before coming to the assessment centre.

Do you have any interview tips?

In group exercises, JLR are looking for evidence of people skills, teamwork and sharp thinking. You need not go out of your way to drown out other candidates or force your ideas upon them (as some consultancies expect of their candidates). Building a car is immensely complex and demonstrating that you can work well with with a diversity of different people is essential. You will be doing this on a daily basis.

For the 1-to-1 interviews, the best tip is to prepare examples for common competency-based interview questions at home, be aware of the company's recent history and trends in the automotive industry.

If you are applying for a Procurement / Purchasing role, you can't really prepare for the negotiation exercise. Good luck!
