What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be open and honest about why you want to work in recruitment specifically - prior to applying myself (I worked in employment screening for PwC beforehand) I set up multiple meetings with heads of other recruitment companies to discuss their business and the challenges they felt were facing the industry. Get the details of a normal weekly workload, know what you're getting into, and be prepared to serve your time struggling to make the big bucks - too many people come in expecting this straight away.
