It's a unique opportunity to volunteer, gain great experience and develop yourself as a person. Don't be put off by the length of the position, it's worth it for the experience and everything you gain from it.
Show your passion for helping children and your belief in City Year's ethos.
Do you have any interview tips?
Be prepared to show your passion for the cause and for improving education.
Also make sure to show as much initiative in the group activity as you can, and take note of what you're doing so you know what it is you are learning and showing through the activities.
Most importantly, be calm, professional and yourself, and don't sell yourself short.
