What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
As well as researching the company and the position, try to have some form of relevant work experience and something that shows you can work in a team. I'd say these are as important (if not more so) than having a first or a 2:1.
Do you have any interview tips?
I was quizzed heavily (though not interrogated - they were still friendly) on work experience, not so much the technical detail, but almost as if they were checking to see if I really did do what my CV said. There were a handful of open-ended technical questions, but it was more to see how I would tackle a problem. It was more of a tete-a-tete to be honest.
