What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £37,000 - £39,000

Current salary: £43,000 - £45,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 7:45

Finish: 18:00

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

I would advise candidates to apply if they are comfortable with financial concepts already - although there is training, this is more "orientation" rather than technical. They have never hired a grad with an arts degree.

Do you have any interview tips?

In the written application we had to choose a bond to invest in. We were then quizzed on our choice in the interview. Also asked things relating to my degree (Economics) such as "what is the Taylor rule". And then some questions on my previous experience with fixed income e.g. explain how CDS works. Also were given six balance sheets and asked to guess which industry each company was from.
